Parke Denim Barn Jacket

It’s a take on workwear roots with a modern twist, all in the Denim Barn Jacket. It’s based on the styles of traditional chore coats with a boxy, straight-cut fit, ending at the hips, button front and four patch pockets all sufficiently deep to be practical. The denim is a dark rinse that has not been heavily washed, which means that it has a very natural look and will continue to acquire character as a person wears it. As opposed to a trucker jacket, the barn jacket is a more relaxed fit with a longer body and strikes the correct balance of comfort over a flannel and a dress shirt. Material & Fabric

Use 100% hand and tight weave of dark cotton denim. The material comes in a very stiff form, so that the jacket has a more structured appearance which over time softens into something more personal. All stress points bar tacked and seams flat felled for strength. It’s a jacket that’s designed for working in, not only outerwear.

Care Instructions

Rinse before the first use and then wear a ton to create natural fading. Once dry, wash inside out in cold water and hang to dry. The dark rinse will gradually fade with washings to reveal the underlying white warp thread for a lived in appearance.
