Parke Classic Nylon Jacket

The Classic Nylon Jacket is a simple, light jacket designed for changeable conditions. It is a smooth ripstop nylon with water-resistant finish that will hold up to light rain and wind, without adding bulk to an outfit like an outerwear. The silhouette is tight but not too tight, fitting close to the body with room to fit a thin hoodie or even zip up over a tee. The nylon doesn’t stick to skin, and is breathable with an interior mesh lining. It’s simple and understated, a style that pairs nicely with shorts during the spring and jeans in autumn. When the sun rises it can be fitted into a pack bag.

Material & Fabric

Strong nylon with water repellent finish. It’s actually more difficult than it appears because the ripstop weave prevents further tearing of the material from occurring. Interior mesh lining allows air to circulate. When wet, dries rapidly, and does not wrinkle easily, perfect for travel and changing weather conditions.

Care Instructions

Machine wash cold using gentle cycle. Dry with no heat: hang or tumble dry on no heat. Do not iron. If water ceases to bead on the surface, reapply a DWR spray periodically, every few months.
